Our Founder and CEO, Tim Chapman shares his reflections on 2022 at TangoAlpha3. We are excited to help more veterans find jobs in 2023!

It would be neither original nor accurate, necessarily, to talk about TangoAlpha3’s humble beginnings as being created in a Silicon Valley garage with nothing but a vision and barely enough start-up capital to pay for a desk and computer.  And while the true story is not that much different, we’ve come a long way.  For the first time since our inception, TangoAlpha3’s projects took us to Europe where we will continue to expand into 2023 and our work state-side has also expanded.  We will be going into our 5th year supporting the Defense Health Agency in new CONUS locations including New York, New Jersey and Colorado.

Among the new projects supported in 2022:

Our performance and reputation are nothing without the incredible people that make up Team TA3.

Since we are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, engaging with, recruiting and representing veterans has been not only a core internal mission but key in our ability to bridge the gap for servicemen and women who transition out of the US Military into civilian roles.  In doing so, we often provide the Veteran with a wider range of opportunities and in-roads to companies than one could likely achieve on their own.  We regularly educate our clients on the benefits of hiring Veterans and, in addition to direct staffing (i.e. introducing them to companies who wish to hire them, either on a contract basis, as TangoAlpha3 as their employer or as a direct hire arrangement), we assist them in building outreach programs matching their labor needs with men and women whose military training has prepared them to become valued employees and leaders in both their technical areas of expertise and organizational/leadership experiences.

For the second year in a row, we were recognized by the Department of Labor’s HireVets Medallion Award Program as a Gold Medallion awardee for our commitment to Veteran hiring.  Over 65% of our new hires have served in the US Armed forces.

We take great pride in assisting Veterans with the military-to-civilian transition that goes beyond employment.  Our experience in helping Veterans navigate the journey comes from working with generations of Veterans who need assistance in a variety of situations that are common in the process and we believe it is a honorable privilege to do so.

We’ve always described our company as being “small but mighty” and although we are still a small company we added some “mighty” talent to our internal staff.  Kayla Peterson joined us as an HR Operations Specialist and Alyssa Tosti is our newest Technical Recruiter.  Combined, they have proven to be a force-multiplier in our ability to deliver exceptional service to our employees and clients.   I have no doubt that we are as well positioned as we have ever been going into the next year.

We have been very fortunate this year but not all share that sentiment.  My thoughts and prayers go out those effected by the events that have unfolded in Ukraine.  A solution cannot come quick enough nor replace all of what has been lost but to see the courage and will of the Ukrainian people as been nothing short of remarkable.  Slava Ukraini!

Thank you to all who have supported TA3 this year!

Here’s to Peace, Love and a Very Happy 2023 to you all!
