We here at TangoAlpha3 are really excited to explore how transitioning military veterans and the gaming industry might realize their potential in each other. We don’t pretend to be the first to observe it’s a natural fit. Simulation and gaming have a long military tradition: at least as far back as the Roman Empire, commanders used sand tables with abstract icons to represent soldiers and units in battle.

U.S. video game content generated $35.4 billion in revenue in 2019, a 2 percent increase over 2018, according to new data released by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) and The NPD Group. More recently COVID-19 has driven adoption, as gaming sales have suggested for several months now. Of those surveyed, 35% say they’re playing more than they were prior to pandemic restrictions. And while this rate of growth won’t likely sustain itself, the digital worlds that comprise the gaming industry will almost assuredly continue to grow. And US military veterans, given their experience striving to excel in a diverse environment, would seemingly have a natural place in it.
TangoAlpha3’s roots are firmly placed at the intersection of talent acquisition, military veterans, and technology…and we have developed a VetRaaS (Veteran Recruiting as a Service) framework founded on lean principles that we are excited to share with the most inquiring of gaming industry minds…
